26th Oct - Took a cab from Ayan da's house for Airport at around 7.30 PM. Reached Airport at around 9.00 PM. The AirAsia flight took off from Kolkata Airport for Don Bueng Airport Bangkok at 12.50 AM.
27th Oct - Reached Bangkok at 3.00 AM. Took local SIM from the Bangkok Airport - TRUE 5G. While taking out Thai currency from the ATM at the Airport, Sourav forgot to carry his Suitcase. After coming out from the Airport Sourav realised but he was not allowed to go inside. We went to the Lost & Found desk and raised the issue. After waiting for almost 40-45 mins, Sourav got back his Suitcase. Then we took a Van from outside the Airport for Swarbnabhumi Airport Bangkok. It took around 40-45 mins to reach. From the Swarbnabhumi Airport we took our rented Car - Toyota Veloz. Ayan da will drive the Car. Reached "The Rest" hotel at PRACHAUPKHIRIKHAN- around 5.30 PM.After getting refreshed, we went to the Night market. Had street food there - Sticky Rice & Chicken. Came back to HOTEL by 9.30 PM.
28th Oct- Visited Buddhist Monastry in the top of the hill at Prachaupkhirikhan- hu beach - Bo Tang Lang Beach (Did Canoeing here )- on the way to Phuket stopped near Khao sak and had dinner
29th Oct - Reached Phuket around 3.3O AM at the Beach Heights Hotel- Slept and got up around 9.30 AM- had complimentary Breakfast in the hotel - Left hotel for KATA BEACH by 11.45 AM. Went to Bangtao Beach. Stayed there for around 45 mins. From there we went to Surin Beach. Had our lunch there. From there we went to Bangla Street to a mall and spent some time there. Purchased few notepads for the kids. We also booked one day tour to Racha Island for next day which costed us 950 BHAT for each person. Back to the hotel by 11 PM.
30 Oct - Got up by 7 AM. Finished our breakfast by 8 AM. Got ready by 8.40 AM. The van for the tour arrived at 8.40 AM. Left the hotel in the van by 8.45 AM. Reached Racha Island in a speedboat by 10.30 AM. Spent some time in the Island and took bath in the sea. At 11.45 AM we had our lunch there. Then again spent some time in the beach. The weather was very hot but the place is is very nice in terms of view. At 1.30 PM , we left Racha Island and we went to Kahung beach. It's a nice beach again where you can do scuba diving and other water sports. Spent some time there till 3.30 PM. Then we returned back to our hotel by 4.30 PM. In the evening went to Bangla Street and spent some time there.
31 Oct - Got up around 6.35 AM. Did breakfast in the Hotel. Checked out from " The Beach Heights" hotel at 10.00 AM. We first went to Rawai Beach.From there we went to Promthep Cape. Then we went to Wat Chalong to see Monastry. From there we went to see the Big Buddha in the top of the hill. We reached Krabi peer no. 8 around 7.30 PM. From here we had to take a ferry with the car which took us to Koh Lanta in 20 mins. Then we drove to the hotel which took another 1 hour. We reached the Koh Lanta Corner resort by 9 PM. We got fresh and then went for dinner in a nearby restaurant. In that restaurant we met a German man who sells handmade Pizza. We took one Pizza and it was really good.
After getting fresh, went to have breakfast. Then I, Sourav and Ayan da went for swimming. The location of this hotel in Koh Lanta is actually great and the scenic beauty around it is also lovely. We then left the hotel and started heading towards Krabi at 11 AM. We reached Aao Nang Krabi around 3 PM. We went to the Capu Chin Hotel for our check in but then we realised it's the wrong hotel. It was raining moderately heavy at Krabi. After proper check we got to know that the actual hotel we had booked was Aao Nang Mitti Hotel. It was around 7-8 mins drive. After completing after check in , we went to do our lunch at a nearby hotel. The whole day it was raining quite moderately. Therefore we could not roam outside much today. At night, we went to a nearby tour booking shop and booked Hong Island tour for next day.
2nd Nov - Got up early around 7 AM. We were told by our tour guide that the cab to pick us up from the hotel would arrive by 8.30 AM. However it came early by 8.10 AM. We were not ready so it left us. We left hotel in our own car by 8.45 AM to the pier from where the speed boat would leave. The boat left around 10 AM. It made a tour of three islands. The scenic beauty of each Island was breathtaking. We did our lunch in one of the islands. We were back to the pier by 4 PM. In the evening we roamed around Krabi street and did some shopping.
3rd Nov - Today I will be departing for Bangkok from the Krabi Airport at 5.35 PM. From Bangkok , I have my flight to Kolkata at 10.55 PM. I was dropped at the Krabi Airport Ayan da, Sourav, Ennis & Sujib at 2.30 PM. They left for Nakhon Sammarat. They will return to Kolkata on 5th Nov.
